I spent several weeks this year teaching watercolor painting classes to seniors in Concord, NH. A far stretch from the typical caricature and cartoon training camps and private tutoring I’ve offered in the past, but nevertheless, not a strange experience for me, as I’ve taught drawing and art classes to New Hampshire students of all ages throughout my career.
These watercolor painting classes were really special for me (and for my students too!)
I provided two painting tutorial packages. One was 6 weeks long and one was 3 weeks long, both once a week for 1-2 hours per session, both in Concord. The picture below was the second week on the 3 week class, and this is a beginner watercolor painting class. How do you think they did? I think their paintings are pretty amazing- and I’m really proud of my NH students for learning so quickly in my watercolor classes!
